Roasting is a culinary technique that is used to cook raw foods and consists of exposing them to the heat of fire or embers in order to cook them slowly. The embers of a wood fire are often preferred as a source of heat. The heat is gradually transmitted to the food, which is usually suspended above or near the burning embers.
Our volcanic stone grill, due to its natural origin, accentuates the flavor of the roast, the condiments and its properties, greatly improving the tasting of the diner.
CURE AND CLEAN A STONE ROAST
1. Wash with soap and water. Use a hard and firm bristle brush for this procedure.
2. Let dry completely.
3. Put on the fire and once it reaches a high temperature go adding vegetable or olive oil, do this until it reaches a uniform dark color throughout the piece.
4. Leave on fire until it stops smoking. This will create a nonstick film.
Grill Cleaning
1. After daily use it is recommended to dry brush with a hard bristle brush.
2. Subsequently wash with a brush of hard and firm bristles, water and soap.
